This is an African Zulu/Tswana Traditional medley. It is basically an up-beat African Spiritual which mostly this song is sung in Zulu.

It is about the people who, they sat quietly and wept by the rivers of Babylon and they thanked the Lord for giving them love and refuge, and He wiped their tears for He heard their cries and stuggles. The people then praised the Lord and rejoiced His Name in song.

This piece was arranged for Cornwall Hill College Choir (Pretoria, Gauteng, in South Africa) and Albertha Filter, the conductor (in 2015).
