This is a brass arrangement of a choral (SATB) work I wrote. "My God, my God! Why have you forsaken me?" The mode of the refrain is Locrian and the texture is fugal. Sections B, C, and D juxtapose between modal and tonal. Section E returns to the first theme but with the order of voices changed around.
