Deze vierdelige suite in Spaanse stijl ontleent haar titel aan het tweede deel. Dit deel is ook het meest romantische van de vier; het schildert een Spaans bergdorpje dat op een zondagmorgen door het luiden van de kerkklokken uit zijn vredige slaap gerukt wordt. Het eerste deel is natuurlijk een paso doble en daar hoeft geen commentaar bij. Het derde deel is een Zortzico, een plechtige oude Spaanse dans in 5/8 maat. Het slotdeel bestaat uit een typische Fandango, de opzwepende dans der Spaanse zigeuners.

This four part suite in Spanish style is named after the second part, the most romantic of the four movements. It pictures a pastoral Spanish mountain village awakening by the sound of the church bells on a Sunday morning. The first part is, of course, a pasodoble and needs no comment. The third part is a Zortzico, a solemn old Spanish dance, written in a 5/8 meter. The final part is a Fandango, an exciting dance of the Spanish gipsies.

Voici une suite en 4 parties. C'est la deuxième partie de cette pièce de style espagnol qui a donné son titre à l'oeuvre. C'est également la partie la plus romantique, évocant un village montag-nard espagnol qui se réveille au son des cloches le dimanche matin. La première partie est évidemment un paso doble, qui se passe de tout commentaire. La troisième partie est une vieille danse espagnole au caractère imposant, appellée Zortzico. La partie finale est une danse frénétique des tziganes espagnols, le très populaire Fandango.

Diese vierteilige Suite im spanischen Stil wurde nach dem zweiten Teil benannt. Es ist der meist romantische der vier Teile und schildert ein ländliches spanisches Bergdorf das am Sonntag Morgen vom Gebimmel der Kirchenglocken erwacht. Der erste Teil ist natürlich ein Paso doble und braucht überhaupt kein Kommentar. Der dritte Teil ist ein Zortzico, ein feiner alter spanischer Tanz im 5/8 Takt. Der letzte Teil ist ein Fandango, der begeisternde Tanz der spanischen Zigeuner.
