Composed by Daniel Alomia Robles and Paul Simon. Arranged by Karen Ivana. This edition: pdf, streaming. Folk, Multicultural, Pop, World. 7 pages. Karen Ivana #1269161. Published by Karen Ivana (A0.1705306).This cheerful song is based on an Andean folk tune. Paul Simon heard the piece played by the Peruvian band "Los Incas" and arranged and recorded his own version with them, which he later added lyrics to for the Bridge Over Troubled Water album. This choir version keeps the Andean folk style which is so intrinsic to the song, but with a new interpretation of the intro. I also have available a simpler two part SA version of the song.
