"El Choclo" is one of the most famous tangos from Argentina, composed by musician Ángel Villoldo in 1903. The title ‘El Choclo’ means ‘corn cob,’ but in the metaphorical language of tango it evokes simplicity, rustic charm, and closeness to everyday life. It is one of the earliest tango pieces to gain widespread popularity, helping transform tango from a street dance into an international musical genre.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
