El caracol (snail in Spanish) is the perfect illustration of the long slow process children must undertake when learning music. Ferrer Ferran composed this small musical poem to encourage the first, and sometimes difficult, steps in the fascinating world of music. The vocal part in this work can be performed by children taking their first steps in music. If there is no children's choir available the musicians in your band can sing the vocal part. This is a tremendously innovative piece that will help youngsters get involved in music-making.
El Caracol Mifasol (Mifasol de slak) is opgedragen aan alle kinderen die muziek beoefenen. ‘El caracol’ (Spaans voor slak) illustreert de lange weg die ze geleidelijk moeten gaan om muziek te leren. Ferrer Ferran schreef dit korte muzikale gedicht om de eerste (soms moeilijke) stappen in de fascinerende wereld van de muziek aantrekkelijker te maken. Er is geen betere inleiding tot deze kunst dan de mogelijkheid om op te treden vanaf het begin! Dus laat de kinderen een jeugdorkest begeleiden door ze de noten te laten meezingen die ze hebben geleerd in hun eerste theorielessen.
Ferrer Ferran widmete dieses Stück allen Kindern, welche die wunderbare Kunst der Musik erlernen. Mifasol bezieht sich auf die Tonsilben Mi, Fa und Sol, die in den meisten Musikschulen als erstes gelernt werden. El Caracol, die Schnecke, steht für den langen und langsamen Weg in die Welt der Musik, der viel Unterstützung erfordert. Lassen Sie also die jungen Musiker (alternativ auch Musiker aus dem Blasorchester) ihre ersten Noten zu diesem Stück mitsingen - ein Bühnenerlebnis ist die beste Motivation!
