Deze schema's is men gaandeweg als de typische Spaanse volksmuziek die zij begeleiden gaan beschouwen; zij vormen combinaties die de meesten als authentieke Spaanse muziek definiëren.Het eerste deel is gebaseerd op een typische dans 'Jota' genaamd. Het tweede, sterk contrasterende, deel is op de 'Fandango' gebaseerd. De compositie is opgebouwd volgens het klassieke patroon: snel - langzaam – snel. De schitterende partituur bevat heel wat maatwisselingen, typische Spaanse ritmes en veel contrasten wat de klankkleuren betreft. Deze uitstekende versie voor fanfareorkest is van de hand van de Nederlandse specialist Geert Schrijvers.

On trouve des orchestres de fanfare aux Pays-Bas, en Belgique, en France et au Luxembourg. L'arrangement est orchestré pour un groupe complet de bugles (flugelhorns) (1 petit bugle en mi bémol, 4 bugles solos, 4 premiers bugles, 4 deuxièmes bugles, 4 troisièmes bugles) et un groupe complet de saxophones (2 sopranos, 2 altos, 2 ténors, 1 baryton) qui remplacent les bois, tandis que les autres cuivres sont les mêmes que ceux utilisés dans l'orchestre d'harmonie.El Camino Real (Le Chemin Royal) a été composé en 1985 par Alfred Reed suite à une commande du 581ème Air Force Band aux Etats-Unis d'Amérique. La musique est basée sur des schémas d'accords qui ont été utilisés par d'innombrables générations de guitaristes interprétants le Flamenco espagnol. Ces schémas sont considérés comme étant typiques pour la musique folklorique qu'ils accompagnent et les combinaisons de ces schémas d'accords représentent la musique espagnole authentique.La première partie est basée sur une danse appelée « Jota », tandis que la deuxième partie, fort contrastante, est basée sur le « Fandango ». La composition est élaborée selon le schéma classique : rapide – lent – rapide.
