Un arrangiamento mariachi di una canzone colombiana del 1983, composta da Héctor Ochoa Cárdenas e acclamata da un concorso pochi anni dopo come la "più bella canzone di tutti i tempi della Colombia" e nel 1999 come "la canzone colombiana per eccellenza del XX secolo". In effetti il brano è stato anche studiato approfonditamente dal punto di vista strutturale per capire l'estensione del suo appeal sull'ascoltatore, individuando nella composizione infussi di Liszt, Chopin e Bizet, peraltro stilemi musicali molto usati anche da altri compositori del Novecento di area colombiana e venezuelana.

The song has been studied in deep to understand its appeal to the listener, both finding musical relations to Liszt, Chopin and Bizet and referring to the nostalgia by some listeners for a time which has passed (including the Catholic way of life and principles in the last 40 or 50 years).
