Makes Modestly-Skilled Instrumentalists Shine
The organist does all the work on these pieces, with the potential of making an instrumentalist with modest playing skills sound wonderful. The organ part of these settings of 8 German chorales, written in typical Baroque trio sonata style, require a well-trained and skilled organist, but the instrumentalist part is just the straight-forward chorale melody. Great confidence booster for student or amateur instrumentalists who really want to play a solo, but might have difficulty with other pieces. The pieces are even more stunning with a well-trained instrumentalist.
