Snappy!!
If you are looking for something to challenge your students with, this is perfect. Rhythms are fun and there are a variety of key and time signatures as well as loads of articulation to be considered. Pieces are typically one page. The last piece in the book is a compilation of variations that can be played in any order and as a duet, trio etc. I can't wait to try this!! These are perfect for the student that enjoys challenges and wants to step out of the box of predictability.

Easy Little Peppers
Having so much fun with this music and realizing even more the true magic of Elissa - Brilliant! I was first inspired with the polyrhythms and variation of articulation in beginner collections.The titles are refreshing and descriptive with the following tempo suggestions - glistening, Beware, Alarming, Gleeful, Ready to Pounce, Laid-back, Pleased, etc. there are even more!I'm even learning about some new animals - Echidna and Bandicoot!This last element is even more brilliant: At the conclusion of Very Easy Little Peppers and Easy Little Peppers, are pieces titled, Peas in a Pod. These are not only aleatoric music in regard to indeterminate arrangement of the eight parts in performance, but ALSO these eight parts may be played together as a duet, duo, or even with 3-4 people playing simultaneously and beginning on a different part! I have two more books, and I'm sure to be more amazed
