A good, practical collection of classical duets for high and low voice with piano. While it lacks chord symbols (typical for classical), the arrangements are well-suited for formal events and recitals. With 96 pages, some page-turning planning is needed for longer duets, but the repertoire by composers like Grieg and Beethoven is a welcome, reliable choice for classical engagements. A useful addition to the library.

I just love Joan Frey Boatim!! Everything she does is just so well thought out and perfectly suited to who it is actually aimed at. It has always been hard to find duets for the young intermediate singer until this book showed up! It is just perfect - lovely songs with an easy to hold harmonic line. My one quibble - it would be nice to have a CD supplied with the book.
