Fun Baroque playing
I purchased this book because it is difficult for intermediate amateur players to find repertoire that is approachable yet musically interesting, standing up to repeat playing. It hit the mark very well. Most pieces can be mastered by an intermediate level player without a huge investment in time; notation is clear, and it's a nice collection of pieces. Accompanying CD is very helpful; the author has some nice subtle phrasings. My only beef is that some of the pieces are provided in Cliff Notes versions instead of the whole piece. Bottom line: I love Baroque music, it sits well on classical guitar, and this book stays out on my music stand all the time!
