Austin Lovelace has found a unique Easter text to set to lilting, joyous Easter music. This text takes the refrain 'Glory in the Highest', heard by the shepherds at Jesus' birth, and relates it to the Easter story. The melody of the first, second, and fourth stanzas are identical except for the ending notes. The third stanza keeps the same melody but puts it in the minor key to fit the mood of the words.
