I composed and dedicated this piece to my 2022-2023 students of the band program at the Melaleuca Elementary School (FL). The work was premiered in May 2023.
I composed this piece using a 6 music notes scale (G to Low Bb), simple rhythmic combinations, an AABA form, unisons, duets, and trio textures. This piece will suit your beginner concert band if you are a band teacher who wants to present a concert with music other than the exercises from the band method.
