"É d'Oxum" is a famous Brazilian song composed by Gerônimo Santana and Vevé Calasans, released in 1985. The song, which celebrates the orixá of fresh waters, became an anthem of Bahia and a great success in the voice of Gal Costa, in addition to being part of the soundtrack of the miniseries Tenda dos Milagres. It became a classic of Bahian music, exalting Oxum and the power of the waters. It has been recorded by Gal Costa, Beth Carvalho, among others. It is an exaltation of the orixá Oxum, lady of the fresh waters, beauty, fertility, and love.
