This piece is written in the form of an overture (A-B-A). The beginning features a prominent, dynamic theme, which determines the character of the whole piece. This theme is repeated in every part of the composition; in the slow middle movement it appears in lyrical phrases, supported by broad harmonies, which feature in an unexpected manner. Dynamic Overture ends with an adapted repeat of the first movement, finishing in a flashing coda.

Cette composition est structurée selon la forme traditionnelle de l’ouverture (A-B-A). Dynamic Overture ("Ouverture dynamique") débute avec l’exposition d’un thème énergique qui sert de fil conducteur aux trois passages de l’œuvre. Dans le passage central, écrit dans un mouvement lent, le thème principal apparaît travers des phrases musicales généreuses et lyriques qui, soutenues par des harmonies amples, donnent un aperçu original voire inattendu du thème initial. Dynamic Overture se conclut par la reprise du premier passage, partiellement modifié, qui chemine vers une coda pétillante, expressive et pleine de dynamisme.

Brano scritto nella forma ABA, tipica dell’ouverture. Inizialmente viene esposto il maestoso tema, che determina il carattere dell’intera composizione e viene ripetuto in ogni sua parte. La parte centrale è più lenta e contraddistinta da una sorprendente ricchezza armonica. Il finale riprende la parte iniziale, ma con un piglio incredibilmente energico.
