What a beautiful setting of the ancient text, Sancti, venite, Christi Corpus sumite. Originally found in the Bangor Antiphoner, a rare Irish liturgical manuscript, the text is considered to be the oldest recorded communion hymn, dating to the 7th century. With its gentle, beautiful melody and warm harmonies, this is a favorite that will be revisited time and time again.
