Double Concertino, Op. 22b began as a work for symphonic band, dedicated to Mário Marques (tenor saxophone) and Sérgio Carolino (tuba). The original version was awarded the 3rd Prize at the Wind Composition Contest Saxony 2025 and premiered by the Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa under the composer’s direction.
