SSAA acapella. This classic Christmas song contains lyrics in both spanish and english, but in a very accessible way that all audiences can enjoy. The soprano 2 has the melody most of the way through as the other parts provide melodic back-up. Other parts take over the melody during the bridge and then the soprano reclaims it again afterward. A chromatic rise in the soprano parts at the end of the bridge stays low the first time through, but on the repeat it's up an octave to provide a thrilling climax to the song. Great for caroling groups, school choirs and community women's choruses looking for a nostalgic, bilingual entry into their holiday programs!
