"Dona, Dona", also known as "Donna, Donna", is a very marvellous Yiddish song. It's about a calf being led to slaughter, written originally by Sholom Secunda and Aaron Zeitlin, the Yiddish title is "Dos Kelbl" (The Calf). The great singer Joan Baez made the song popular when she first recorded it in 1960. Listen also to her amazing versions to this day. Also I am deeply impressed by the version of Einat Betzalel & L'Orchestre Festival (also on YouTube).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
