Dobrado is a Brazilian style or musical genre derived from the military marches. It is a musical piece originally written to accompany the march of the military, who in Brazil developed their own characteristics that originated the genre Dobrado, becoming popular from the mid-nineteenth century. Dobrados are written to be performed by a music band formed by instruments such as wood, brass and percussion. With the popularity of music bands throughout the interior of Brazil, Dobrado spread throughout the country and became a symbol of celebration, celebration and solemnity in the cities.
