Do You Hear What I Hear by Gloria Shayne Concert Band - Digital Sheet Music

By Noel Regney
Concert Band - Level 1 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1895810

Composed by Gloria Shayne and Noel Regney. Arranged by Michael Larson. This edition: pdf. Christmas, Holiday, Traditional. 35 pages. Michael James Larson #1454240. Published by Michael James Larson (A0.1895810).

This arrangement of Do You Hear What I Hear? functions somewhat like a rondo, with the whole band returning to the same melody again and again, separated by the various soli sections. Flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets/ horns, trombone/ baritone/ bassoon/ tuba, and percussion each get eight bars of their own melody in this easy Christmas medley.

The trumpet and flute parts each have alternate lower notes for those players who may struggle hitting the highest pitches. Also, trombone and euphonium parts can be interchanged for players who may benefit from a higher or lower part. A trombone treble clef part is also included for Baritone T.C. who would benefit from higher parts. The cymbal/triangle part is optional and can be played by 1 or 2 players, The xylophone/marimba part is also optional or could also be used as a second bell part.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
