Díszpalotás (Hungarian Court Dance) is a refined and elegant concert piece based on the historical Hungarian court dance tradition. Composed by Antal Csermák, one of the most important figures of the early Hungarian instrumental style, the work reflects the dignified character of the “palotás”, a ceremonial dance associated with aristocratic and courtly settings.
