Great Foundation for Vocal Collaboration
While designed for solo guitar, this Disney collection offers excellent material for a collaborative guitarist working with vocalists. The arrangements feature clear melodic lines integrated within the guitar texture, making it easy for a singer to follow. The harmonic support is solid, allowing for a good foundation. With slight adaptation, these pieces can beautifully support a singer, covering a broad, familiar repertoire. A valuable addition to any coach's library.

Fun & Achievable Disney Classics!
As an adult learner, I absolutely love this book! Playing these Disney movie classics like 'When You Wish Upon a Star' on my classical guitar is incredibly enjoyable. The blend of standard notation and tablature is perfect, letting me enjoy the music without getting bogged down. The arrangements feel full and satisfying, and I'm genuinely surprised at how quickly I can get these sounding great. Highly recommend for pure musical relaxation!

Excellent Resource for Developing Guitarists

Fantastic Collection
I took a gamble and bought this book without seeing the arrangements of the pieces. I'm glad I did. This is my fourth year in college as a classical guitar major and this music is close to the level of the other music I'm learning. (a little easier) Villa-Lobos's Choro No. 1, Parkening's arrangement of Bach's Prelude No. 1, and Maria Linneman's Your Name in the Stars are the pieces I'm working on for this semester. I chose When You Wish Upon a Star as the first piece to learn out of this book because it's my favorite Disney song. My favorite part about this book is that all of the pieces are very close to the same level. Ranging from Early Intermediate to Intermediate/Advanced, you'll find what you want.
