Solid Disney Melodies for Sax
For specific event requests, these Disney solos for alto sax are quite reliable. The 'intermediate' arrangements are well-voiced for the instrument. While it's primarily a play-along book with orchestra backing, the core melodies are accurately transcribed. Useful for performances where a backing track is planned, though I'd prefer dedicated lead sheets for improv gigs. A good collection of popular, recognizable tunes.

Excellent for Intermediate Sax Students!
This Disney collection is perfect for my intermediate alto sax students. The arrangements are engaging and the 'intermediate' difficulty is spot on, providing a good challenge without overwhelming. The familiar tunes motivate practice, and the included digital audio play-alongs are fantastic for developing rhythm and ensemble playing. Hal Leonard's clear engraving always makes for easy reading.

Disney Solos for Alto Sax
My daughter has only played one song so far, but is very interested in learning the others, because she is familiar with them. She has had only one year of sax and does well. The book challenges her, but she can successfully play the pieces.
