In 1972, the Morehouse College Glee Club was preparing for a historic tour of Africa. Wendell P. Whalum, the highly acclaimed educator, musicologist, arranger, and director transcribed the melody of this folk song as it was sung by a native Nigerian who was a student at Morehouse College. Dr. Brown has set this melody for mixed voices and optional percussion. This item is for Digital Download; print edition also available: 15/1669R.
