This song, originally for voice and piano, is transcribed for performance on a 3-octave carillon (tower bells). Efforts are made to include a great many details for interpretation. If this is performed in a straightforward, inexpressive manner, a musical travesty is taking place! A preface is included in this file explaining more details. At the moment, I don't know of any version of this beautiful song that is available in print. This therefore the only way to get this piece in writing - at least at present. The song is so memorably expressive, it was worth the effort to commit it all to paper.
