This is a brass quintet arrangement (2 trpts. in Bb, Horn in F, trombone and tuba) of a hit single by teenage composer and songwriter Paul Anka. It reached #2 on Billboard’s Top 100 in 1957. This arrangement stays true to the original key of G major, with the French Horn covering some of the guitar riffs throughout. Most intermediate level players would find this piece manageable, but some parts are on the cusp of their upper ranges. It would play well with older 1950s-era dance audiences at weddings and rock/pop concerts.
