The original was in a book scribed anonymously around an estimated 1810 AD. Some liberty has been taken in arranging it as the original manuscript was partially illegible. The manuscript is titled ‘Rival Knights.’ It’s also similar to the folk tune ‘Devil’s Dream’ and the original manuscript’s notation lends credence to a plausible uninterpretable manuscript,hence ‘Devil Among the Taylors.’
Arranged closely to the original as violin and bass obligato without changing chords or notes. The key signatures closely match what the writer wrote also. .
