This incredibly unique a cappella arrangement of "Defying Gravity" from the Tony-nominated musical "Wicked" is a powerful closer to any choir concert.
Commissioned for the Rowlett High School Choir in 2015, and gaining attention on YouTube, this arrangement of "Defying Gravity" was designed to utilize all the choral ensembles in the program - each with their own distinct part and style. The arrangement was carefully crafted for two soloists and three to six choirs (chamber choir, varsity mixed, non-varsity mixed, optional show choir, optional treble choir, optional tenor-bass choir) all performing at the same time. It is a highly flexible and adaptable piece. Highly recommended for combined programs!
This piece includes:
- Full Score
- Chamber Group Score
- Varsity Mixed Score
- Non-Varsity Mixed Score
- Optional Show Choir Score
- Optional Treble Choir Score
- Optional Tenor-Bass Score
