Although You Made Me Love You was written by Joseph McCarthy (no, not that one) and James V. Monaco, the Clark Gable letter that introduces it was written by Judy Garland's friend and arranger Roger Edens. And that's how we often hear it today. I was surprised that although you can find the song on line in a number of places there really are no Pro Arranger versions of it. So, I arranged one. I didn't include the smaltzy dialogue little Judy speaks on the recording but it's easy to find online if you want it. I included not only Eden's lyrics but also the original. Judy was basically a child and with the censorship of the day the studio did not want her singing the sultry lyrics by McCarthy. You don't have to be Judy . . . but you can be!
