This is the original arrangement of my song "Daylight's Requiem" from my debut studio album "Terra Solus" (2025). Written for alto and tenor sax, guitar, piano, bass and drums, this captivating South African jazz number is a perfect addition to any jazz combo's repertoire.
The song is written in a uniquely South African style called the "ghoema", which originated in my home city, Cape Town.
Introspective and quietly profound, this song and the album as a whole has been praised for it's unique sound. I hope you enjoy this arrangement!
