A beautiful 'Theme and Variation' piece, 'Day by Day' from the musical 'Godspell', can be incorporated into a formal church service, or used to teach a Sunday School class how to clap to a back-beat. Although written for four voices, this arrangement can also be used for a solo or group with optional instrument chording. This arrangement subdivides each section in reflection of the recording, so performers can select specific parts rather than perform it as a whole if they choose to. Performers are also encouraged to clap or use rhtyhm instruments (ex. tambourine) to liven it up.
