The work is written with two movements (1. Danse sacrée; 2. Danse profane), and the title on programs sometimes reflect those movement titles. The work premiered on November 6, 1904, at one the Concerts Colonne held at the Châtelet Theatre in Paris, with Lucile Wurmser-Delcourt as the harpist and Édouard Colonne conducting. Instrumentation: Str (8-8-5-5-5 in set): Solo Harp in set. Reprint edition.
