This is the third part of a triptych of song cycles dedicated to the poems of Percy Bysshe Shelley, translated into Italian by Roberto Ascoli. The first one was "Il Tramonto" which was inspired by a setting that Ottorino Respighi did for mezzo soprano and string quartet. The second was "Ascoli Shelley Cycle" with poems selected from a book published by Fratelli Treves 1905 that I found on eBay called "Poesie di P. B. Shelley," and the current set of poems, "Aretusa," came from another antique book I found on eBay called "Da P. B.
