Czech's in the Mail Polka by Kevin Kaisershot Brass Quintet - Sheet Music

By Kevin Kaisershot

Czech's in the Mail Polka was written as a tribute to the German-Czech style polkas that the composer became so familiar with during his undergraduate years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was a regular member of a local polka band and played the occasional dance job on numerous weekends. Written specifically for the young brass quintet, the piece has applications even for more experienced groups.

Great Little Arrangement

This polka arrangement is fun and easy to play. Your quintet players will love it. The music is very well written and playing it is sure to be a crowd pleaser. The only downer is that it is over in two and a half minutes. It is great that although the first trumpet plays a significant role, it does not always lead. Other instruments get to join the fun.
