Vittorio Monti's most famous work has finally been transcribed for the instrument it should have been written for - the tuba. Of course, if your group has a whiz-bang trombonist, they could play the solo part themselves, giving the tuba/bass trombonist the third part. The solo may be interpreted freely, and octave-hopping is strongly encouraged - this is, after all, a piece designed to show off your mastery of your instrument. Whatever you like, just go for it!
