Country Gardens" is an English folk tune discovered by Cecil Sharp in the early 1900s. It was used as dance music for the Morris dances.
This song was added to the National Film and Sound Archive's Sounds of Australia registry in 2008.
Excellent for intermediate musicians.
Begins in lower range transitioning to the higher range, sometimes alternating between the two.
Great for recitals and school programs.
