"Corsário" is one of the best-known compositions in Brazilian music, created by the duo João Bosco and Aldir Blanc. The song became famous in the voices of Elis Regina, Zizi Possi, and João Bosco himself. Composed in the 1970s, the partnership was done by correspondence while João Bosco was studying in Ouro Preto and Aldir Blanc was in Rio de Janeiro.
