Tampa Red, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Ray Peterson, Bob Wills, Bob Dylan, and many more have recorded versions of this song.
I decded to make an upbeat arrangement of this song with a Latin rhythm similar to Ray Peterson's 1960 version which reached number nine on the Billboard chart.
Though the song is played almost entirely in the 1st position the syncopation of the bass with the melody makes it a challenging piece to play for fingerstyle guitar. My suggestion is to learn the bass by itself and then slowly add the melody. Enjoy!
