Corinaldo Marche is an etude for two timpani. The brief etude is designed to develop a few techniques for the young student. I have not added stickings. However, the student is encouraged to have that pencil nearby and work out stickings (starting with the left instead of right) in a few key spots. Starting the piece on the left hand will eliminate the need for double strokes. There are other bars that will flow better if you start lefty. There also is a bar of crossovers. Dynamics are key here, for me it's the most important aspect of developing timpani control.
