So Much Fun to Play!
Playing Barry Manilow's "Copacabana" with our community band is an absolute blast! The Grade 3 level is challenging but very achievable for a weekend player, and Richard Saucedo's arrangement makes us sound fantastic. The hot Latin beat and steamy melodies really come through, making it feel just like the record. A truly enjoyable and exciting piece.

'Copacabana' Concert Band
This is a brilliant piece of music well arranged for Concert Band. I have been conducting concert bands now for 30 years the first 15 being with a youth band (Crossgates Youth Band) and now with an adult band (Reston Concert Band) and I have realised that the subtitle of Young Concert Band really should not discourage adult band use as the arrangement ensures a full sound at a Grade 3 or equivalent skill level. The only downside with the parts supplied is the absence of Tuba in treble clef and Eb Tenor Horn parts in the pack (otherwise I would have given 5 stars).
