Beautiful and Elegant
And yet another beautiful piece of Choral Art from one of the most frequently performed choral composers ever (Morten Lauridsen) comes a most beautiful and elegant selection from his Les Chansons Des Roses. This piece (and entire cycle for that matter) based on a series of French Poems, wonderfully depicts the romanticism behind each of these poems. Contre Qui is no exception. As with Lauridsens' other works, this piece will require work in fine tuning, phrasing, and of course work in pronunciation in French.
