The famous Counterpoint n.9 from "The Art of Fugue", composed by J.S.Bach at the very end of his life as a legacy in the art of counterpoint, here in an arrangement for Woodwind Quintet (Flute - Oboe - Clarinet in Bb - French Horn in F - Bassoon) which employs several different timbre combinations of this ensemble.
Respect to the original, have been added dynamical and expressive indications to fully realize the vigorous and relentless spirit of the piece, following and showing its ingenious and surprising structure. Duration: 2'.
