Bought this volume in addition to the first volume. Have the same comments. Great addition to any church musician's repertoire. (Please see my comments on the First Volume.)

My 12 year old son and I duet these at church on trumpet/piano. He's only been taking trumpet a couple of years, so we would just play the first section of a song, because when they changed key the notes were too high for him, but now he can play the entire piece. The Bb and C instrumental music is composed for at least two instruments, but I highlight the melody for my son as it jumps from Line 1 to Line 2, and it's fine. I like the songs and I love the arrangements. So this is definitely a book that beginners can start with and there is a lot of room for growth.
