One of my COVID19 summer lock-down projects, primarily inspired by the recent wave of good weather in England. This project was inspired by the way two rivers collide. The song starts in a major key for the first section and modulates to a minor key for the middle section. The final section modulates between both major and minor as though both sections have collided and converged.
Original piece of music composed for a small four-part brass ensemble of Intermediate to Advanced players, ideal for secondary school students or small brass bands. Any feedback is more than welcome.
Composed using Sibelius Ultimate 2020.6, and recorded using Cornet, Tenor Horn, Euphonium, and Bb Bass from Noteperformer 3.
