The form is quite traditional, with a fast-slow-fast layout, and the movements dovetail together for a seamless experience. The overall tonality is F-minor, just approached in a pandiatonic way. For me, Concertino conveys some of the heroic, lyrical, wistful and jocular aspects of the euphonium sound.
