Come Near To God (Original SATB Choir Piece) 4-Part - Digital Sheet Music

I just want to say a big thank you to the First Readings Project and their director David Ostenso Moore and his 12 person choir that did the recording of this work I had written called "Come Near to God." Yes, I have linked them above. They do amazing work of getting composers who are not that well known yet, out into the public eye or as close as they can get. This piece "Come Near" as I call it for short is the first piece of church choral music or religious choral music I have ever had recorded and the first piece of any music in the choral sector that I’ve ever allowed out. To be perfectly honest, this entire 4 minute piece was written in an astounding 2 days, before my long battle with writer’s block began and my battles with depression were to continue. This is about as simple as it gets. This is what we should all strive for–unity. We should strive for peace, away from the stress that we put on ourselves (*big gulp here*) and the outside stress that is put on us. It is time now to step into the calling we are made for. This is it for me. Yes, money and other material things do have their place, but this is it! I do plan to share this and more music like it as a light to others, and as a breath away from depression and stress and I hope others will surely be enlightened and enriched. This is both a conversation and a prayer between the higher power and myself. This piece is perfect for your church services as well as school and church choral performances.
