The organ part generally is more interesting than the choral writing which often floats above it in unison. On three staves, it has brief soloistic areas with carefully articulated phrasing and registrations. Very expressive music that is not difficult for the choir, but a work with solid craft appropriate for Pentecost. Highly recommended. - "The Diapason" April 2007.
