In "Barnum", circus empresario Phineas T. Barnum looks back at his life, starting when he is just a little boy. The musical and movie shows how he muddled through his life and how he finally became a successful circus-master. But to get there he had to risk everything he had and show enormous courage. Later, Mr. Barnum was the inspiration for the smash hit movie "The Greatest Showman".
The video features the 1981 production of "Barnum", staged at The London Palladium, starring Michael Crawford. Original music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Michael Steward.
